Department AssociationsThe Civil Engineering Students’ Association aims to play a pivotal role in the professional development of students through various out-of-curriculum and extracurricular activities. It aims to inculcate among its members an awareness and appreciation of the various disciplines of not just Civil Engineering but also other relevant fields. Association organises workshops, seminars, and conferences where students can learn about the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in Civil Engineering.

The prime objectives of the association are:

  • To expose students to different specializations in Civil Engineering such as structural, transportation, geotechnical, and environmental engineering.
  • To allow students to connect and network with fellow students, professors, and industry professionals, which in turn help them in finding internships, co-op opportunities, and future job placements.
  • To host events where industry leaders discuss emerging technologies and trends so that students stay updated with the latest advancements in a rapidly evolving field like Civil Engineering.
  • To engage in Community Service and Outreach projects, which can provide students with practical experience and a sense of social responsibility.
  • Department Associations strives to enhance the educational experience, professional development, and overall preparedness for a successful career for each student.

Every year: academic activities, technical talks and software training classes are organized by eminent technocrats from institutions of prominence and within the department.

The annual civil association of the year 2023 named CE_LESTIA ’23 is to mark a confluence of expertise, innovation, and shared passion as we come together once again after our ERECTUS ’22. The constellations of civil engineering are vast, encompassing diverse domains such as structural engineering, transportation, environmental sustainability, and urban planning.
