Department of Civil Engineering hosted the much anticipated technical fest, INFRA on 28 and 29 April 2024 in connection with COGNIZ -2024- techno cultural fest of Bishop Jerome Institute, Kollam. The two day technical fest was packed with more than 10 exhilarating events and the plethora of activities was indeed a boon for the students, faculty members and technical staff of civil engineering department to realize their multitasking potential and organizational skills. INFRA proved to be an arena for engineering professionals, academicians and students for sharing knowledge and exhibiting their innate talents.

The two day technical fest included a series of technical ad non-technical activities with participation from inside and outside our college.

The main highlights of the fest was a BIM using Rivet workshop and  ‘CAD MASTER’ a competition for measuring cutthroat ability to demonstrate experience and skills in AutoCAD. Both the events were sponsored and monitored by ‘ARCITE’ on the 29^th of April as FN and AN sessions at the Civil Department CAD lab. On the same day, a grandiose exhibition showcasing the marvels of construction vehicles left the audience spellbound with awe.

As part of INFRA 2024, the Department of Civil Engineering conducted "MIND OF STEEL," an engineering quiz, on 27th April 2024.The event was sponsored by GEOERA Infrastructures. Many teams competed against each other to prove their civil engineering knowledge.

A wall painting competition named “Brush and Beyond” was also conducted on the theme Future Vision. All the participants were extremely devoted and illustrated the theme in a unique and creative way. Competition marked a vibrant and colorful beginning for the artistic journey of INFRA 2024. A civil engineering based survey hunt was also a new experience for our students on the last day of the tech fest.

The non-technical events like memory game, Ani-may Quiz, Penalty shootout, Virtual Reality and minute to win it added more colour and fun to the 2 days fest
