The Photography Club of Bishop Jerome Institute, in collaboration with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, successfully conducted an inspiring event titled “Shadows: The Silent Storyteller.”The event aimed to highlight the subtle art of capturing stories through light and shadow, encouraging students to explore photography beyond the obvious frames.
The session witnessed active participation from students across various departments, who enthusiastically presented photographs that depicted emotions, movements, and moods using shadow effects. The event was guided and enriched by the presence of Prof. Athul V S, Head of the Department of Architecture, who shared valuable insights on composition, creativity, and the silent language of visuals.
The interactive discussion and sharing of creative works fostered a deeper understanding of the power of observation and timing in photography. The event provided a platform for budding photographers to express themselves and celebrate the silent storytellers hidden in every shadow.
