Kollam: Bishop Jerome Institute (BJI), School of Engineering, Architecture & Management, marked the historic occasion of Independence Day with deep reverence, patriotism, and enthusiasm across campus. Students, faculty members, and staff assembled to pay tribute to the brave freedom fighters whose sacrifices paved the way for a sovereign India.
Reaffirming its mission as an ISO 9001:2015 certified institution and a recognized Centre of Excellence in professional education under the Catholic Diocese of Quilon, BJI emphasized the integral role young engineers, architects, and managers play in nation-building.

Delivering a soulful and stirring message, Fr. Benjamine Palliyadiyil, Manager of Bishop Jerome Engineering College and Director of Quilon Law Library, called upon the youth to reflect on the true value of independence. In a passionate address, he reminded the audience that the freedom enjoyed today was purchased through immense sacrifice and that the responsibility of protecting and nurturing the nation now rests on the shoulders of the younger generation.
