KOLLAM – The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at Bishop Jerome Institute (BJI) is set to host an immersive, hands-on workshop titled "Arduino Basics to Practice" this coming May.

Designed specifically for Plus Two Science and Computer Science students, this two-day practical event aims to bridge the gap between theoretical classroom learning and real-world engineering applications.

The workshop is curated to provide a beginner-friendly entry point into the world of robotics and embedded systems. Participants will move from fundamental concepts to executing live coding challenges.

What to Expect

The program is structured to be inclusive; students do not need prior coding experience to participate. Under the guidance of expert mentors, attendees will engage in:

  • Interactive Sessions: Understanding the architecture of Arduino.

  • Hands-On Challenges: Writing code and building circuits to control hardware.

  • Expert Mentorship: Led by Mr. Roy S. (Dean & HOD, ECE Dept.) and Ms. Neethu Mary Raju (Assistant Professor, ECE Dept.).

Upon successful completion, all participants will receive a Certificate of Participation, a valuable addition to their academic portfolios.
