Bishop Jerome Institute NSS Unit 312 Hosts Free Medical Camp Today in Kollam

KOLLAM – In a significant move toward community health and wellness, the NSS Unit 312 of Bishop Jerome Institute (BJI), in association with the renowned Bishop Benzigar Hospital, is conducting a Free Medical Camp today, January 30, 2026.

The event, held at the college’s Ground Floor Seminar Hall, aims to provide accessible healthcare consultations to students, staff, and the local community.

Official Inauguration

The camp was formally inaugurated by Dr. Thomas Alphons, the Superintendent of Govt. Taluk Hospital, Karunagapally. During the opening, Dr. Alphons emphasized the importance of regular health screenings and the vital role educational institutions play in promoting public health.

Expert Medical Consultation

A dedicated team of specialists from the Department of General Medicine at Bishop Benzigar Hospital is leading the consultations. The team includes:

  • Dr. Vinila Anil Wilson

Participants are receiving one-on-one consultations, basic health check-ups, and expert medical advice on general health management.
