The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Bishop Jerome Institute, organized a two-day workshop titled “Python for Everyone” on June 4 and 5, 2025. The session aimed at building foundational programming skills in Python for Plus Two Students.

The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Roy S, Dean & Head of the Department of ECE, who also handled the Day 1 sessions, focusing on the basics of Python programming, data types, operators, and control structures.

On Day 2, the sessions were led by Ms. Blessy Babu, Assistant Professor, ECE Department, who provided hands-on experience in functions, lists, and basic problem-solving using Python. The program was designed to be interactive, with coding challenges and real-time demonstrations. Participants actively engaged in exercises and discussions, making the sessions lively and informative. The workshop emphasized a practical approach, encouraging participants to use Python as a tool to enhance computational thinking and classroom engagement. The event was coordinated by Ms. Anju D. S and Ms. Deepthi Felix, who ensured the smooth conduct of all sessions and logistics. The program concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony and a vote of thanks appreciating the efforts of the mentors, coordinators, and participants.
