This Level 2, Quarter 2 activity of the IIC Cell was designed to bridge the gap between academic theory and industrial excellence.
The keynote sessions were delivered by Sri. Abin Chandran, Manager of Engineering Services at Carborundum Universal Ltd. (Maniyar Power Plant). Spanning two days, the event provided deep insights into the 5S methodology—Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain—emphasizing its critical role in enhancing productivity and safety within modern industrial environments.
The program was meticulously coordinated by Assistant Professor Telma Johnson (Staff Co-ordinator), alongside Ms. Devapriya (S2 EEE), the Student Co-ordinator representing the Synergy Club. Conducting via Google Meet on January 22nd and 23rd, the sessions saw active participation from students and faculty alike, reinforcing the department's commitment to fostering innovation and industrial readiness among its scholars.
