The SAE awareness program was conducted on 6^th of October 2025 at Perumon college of Engineering, Perumon, Kollam. The meeting started at 10.00 am with a welcome address by Student representative Aswin V S of S3 mechanical Engineering department.

 Asst Prof Rony Mohan(HoD, Dept Of Mechanical Engineering Bishop Jerome Institute, Kollam and MC member SAEIndia Southern Section, Cochin Division ) greeted the Principal, Department Heads, Faculty members and all Students. The first session(for 1^st semester & 3^rd Semester Students) lasted for about 1 hr. The speaker strongly recommended the students to form the SAE collegiate club at the earliest. There were about 80 Students for the session.

 After the first session there was a second session for the final years and pre-final year students. Almost 5 Students gave feedback immediately after the session. The whole program was organized by Amarlal B.

 The session also mentioned about the importance of professional body membership and about the upcoming events in the academic year 2025. The speaker also mentioned about spreading awareness among departments other than Mechanical engineering.

The session came to a conclusion by 12.30 pm with the vote of thanks by Semester 3 student Aswin V S and a small feedback speech by Professor S Arun of mechanical engineering department.
