Introduction : A Dental Health Awareness and Check-up Camp was organized atBishop Jerome Institute on 25th July 2025 as part of the institute’s health and wellness initiative for students and staff.The objective of the camp was to promote oral hygiene awareness, provide preventive dental care, and encourage regular dental check-ups among the campus community.
Objectives:
- To educate students and staff about the importance of maintaining oral hygiene.
- To conduct free dental check-ups and provide professional consultation.

Camp Activities :The camp began with a brief inauguration ceremony where the convenor, Mr. Rony Mohan, welcomed the dental team and addressed the participants. The co-ordinator, Mr. Kevin Francis, spoke about the importance of oral health in overall well-being. A team of qualified dental professionals from Travancore Dental College conducted the camp. The services included:·
- General Dental Examination
- Oral hygiene counselling·
- Demonstrations on proper brushing and flossing techniques
Over 50 students and staff members participated and benefitted from the camp.
Outcomes:
- Enhanced awareness of oral health among students and staff. ·
